The Pacific Players League (PPL) mission is to provide the highest standard of competitive play for youth teams that are members of US Youth Soccer and to assure the continued growth and development of level players.

COMPETITION IN YOUR AREA. IN ADDITION TO: 


 

• Family-centric, with needs of the players considered first 
• One season: Fall, awards to Champions and Finalists. 
• Only competitive play within the PPL; there is no recreational side to the league currently being developed

• Led by its own Commissioner 
• Supportive of Cal South State competitions 
• Supportive of Cal South Pro+ ODP 
• Supportive of continuing coaching education and development

• All league activity both on and off the field will be conducted with RESPECT, in volving all players, parents, coaches, referees, and spectators 
• Collaboration between all participants in the league will be required and en couraged 

 

LEVEL OF COMMITMENT EXPECTED BY PPL TEAMS 


 

Any team looking to participate in the PPL must understand the level of commitment it takes to participate in a League that stretches across Southern California. The determination of game sites is based in part due to home location of teams within the geographic area as well as field availability. Teams understand that they may not play any home games. A limited number of teams are accepted. Teams will be competing against the best US Youth Soccer affiliated teams from across the State Association territory teams from across the State Association territory.

Age groups for the seasonal year that begins  January 1st to December 31st of the birth year 

REFEREES 

Team will be responsible for referee fees for PPL league play.

TEAM ROSTERS 


Teams may utilize 7 club pass players during the course of a season year in accordance with Team Roster and Team Club Pass Player Roster rules. A maximum 22-player Team Roster (except for U12 which is 18-player Team Roster) with a “floating” Team Club Pass Roster shall be utilized in all age groups. Club Pass players may only come from within a team’s club (age appropriate), provided that the player is properly registered with Cal South and US Youth Soccer.
